“Clean water and sanitation for all” is the focus of Sustainable Development Goal 6 (also known as Global Goal 6). The United Nations General Assembly created the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in 2015. The UN states that the objective is to “ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.”Eight milestones must be completed by 2030 to meet the goal. Eleven indicators will be used to gauge progress toward the goals.
Concern for clean water is a top priority for the Action Climate Foundation.
